A vibrant new identity designed to enrich the cultural landscape and make a lasting impact through a key community venue.
Situated in the heart of Sutton-in-Ashfield, Cornerstone is a newly refurbished, multi-purpose entertainment venue designed to invigorate the local community. Born from the extensive renovation of Sutton Community Academy Theatre, Cornerstone offers a welcoming space with a state-of-the-art auditorium, a lively bar, and an inviting café – a veritable hub for creativity and connection, set to open 2025.










Transforming the cultural landscape of Ashfield
As part of a multi-million-pound regional regeneration project, Cornerstone sought a compelling brand identity that would encapsulate its mission to nurture performance, learning, joy and expression for a diverse audience. The goal was to create a modern, vibrant and inclusive brand that reflects the venue’s commitment to celebrating variety and delivering exceptional experiences for all. The brand needed to position Cornerstone not only as a beacon for local and national talent but also as a prominent and accessible feature of the town centre that supports a positive and thriving community.
